The Katherine Sandoval Taylor Studio of Voice provides private voice lessons to singers of all ages and voice types. A performer of multiple genres, Katherine celebrates the vocal individuality that each student possesses and teaches fundamental singing techniques that apply to any style of music.
As an actively performing professional vocalist and actress, Katherine offers her students a unique and invaluable perspective on both the technical art of singing as well as the world of auditions and the business of performing. Vocal technique meets professional savvy, allowing her students to gain poise and confidence to prepare them for all aspects of performance. Lessons focus on healthy singing technique (proper breath support, tonal production, registration, diction, style, etc.), performance presentation, and audition preparation.
Katherine's students have regularly participated in district and state solo auditions (SETC, UPTA, etc.), voice and talent competitions (Orpheus Vocal Competition, Generation for Creation, etc.), have been selected as soloists for opera, choral, concert, and theatrical productions (Local- Nashville Children's Choir, MTVA, CFTA, ACCC, MLT, Shamburger Productions, MAC, World Outreach, MTSU, etc.) and have also been accepted into and received scholarships for university music and theatre programs.
